||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Do we need to book Centre led activities? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Yes. It is helpful to let us know when you make a booking whether or not your group would like Centre led activities. However, you do need to contact the Centre at least 3 months prior to your visit to discuss activity options, suitability of activities for your group, transport requirement and costs. At this stage, once you have made a firm booking for activity sessions the cancellation procedure is that your group is liable for the full cost of the activity. We can sometimes organise activities at short notice. However we cannot always guarantee to be able to have resources or instructors available so please give as much notice as possible. |

| What catering options are available? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

There are 3 catering options available. 1. To self cater. Lockerbrook has a well resourced kitchen well suited for group use. All crockery, cutlery, pans etc. are provided along with Tea towels, cloths, washing up liquid etc. There is one 6 ring gas cooker and two large ovens. We also have a large commercial fridge, chest freezer and a microwave oven. 2. Assisted catering. We prepare the menu and purchase the shopping. Your group prepare and serve breakfast and make packed lunches. We then prepare the evening meal for you ready for the group to serve. All clearing away and washing up is done by the group. Supper is left available for the group to serve as required. 3. Full catering. We prepare all the food, assist with serving and supervise the washing up. We ask that a team be available at breakfast and evening meal to assist in the kitchen. Supper is left available for the group to serve as required. |

| Is there disabled access at the Centre? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The nature of the buildings and the local environment make it hard to improve access, but this has not stopped us making improvements. Over the years we have replaced steps with ramps, have installed a disabled toilet and shower. We now have wheelchair access to most areas. Access to the recreation room in the west barn is still a problem, this is our next project. Please ring to discuss your groups needs. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
